OUR FAVOURITE SEGMENTS IN SEASON 2
Whilst we have enjoying editing all the collectors stories for Antiques DownUnder season 2, there are some that we got an extra thrill out of. Keep an eye out for these hand picked Flix Productions favourites in Season 2
MODELS MODELS MODELS

In episode 4, Nick Horn from Model Emporium show Gregory some of the coolest model trains, cars, and planes. We loved putting telling this story because of Nicks energy and enthusiasm for models shines through. It also gives us a good ol’ dose of nostalgia with a lot of the items from childhood.
QUILTS

In episode 8, we get a look at some incredible quilts handcrafted by soldiers in the war using scraps pieces of their uniforms and other fabrics accessible at the time. The imagery of these beautiful quilts is highlighted by the incredible cinematography of Lloyd Thornton which made for a memorable edit for us an even more memorable story for Antiques DownUnder.
TIME by RONE

The TIME exhibition is so impressive it takes over a full episode of Antiques DownUnder. The exhibition by artist, Rone, takes the viewer on a wild ride back to the early days of life in Melbourne. The exhibition has multiple vintage rooms including a grand library, office, mail room, pharmacy, switchboard room and many more that make you feel like you;ve gone back in time by 100yrs.
ANTIQUES DOWNUNDER HOSTS
One of the most exciting changes for Season 2 is the addition of two new presenters: Lee Bradshaw and Elizabeth Syber. They’ll join the team, bringing their wealth of expertise and charm to the show. With four knowledgeable presenters on board, we know you’re in for a treat.

LEE BRADSHAW

Lee Bradshaw was born in Monbulk, in the Dandenong ranges. He spent the early part of his career working in IT, during which he lived and worked in the UK, Germany, France, and the USA. During this time, he began collecting black basalt, a type of pottery that naturally fires black. As his collection grew too large, he started dealing in pottery as a hobby, eventually turning it into a more serious pursuit by purchasing stock and participating in fairs.
About fifteen years ago, Lee decided to leave the IT industry and opened a shop in Collingwood. The shop flourished, though there was a significant setback when the building next door collapsed through the roof, destroying the building. A new shop was found, and Lee continued his business for several more years. Over time, he expanded his expertise, initially specialising in Wedgwood and later expanding into other English pottery manufacturers, as well as English porcelain, becoming well-versed in Chelsea, Worcester, Bow, and others. He also gained recognition for dealing in quality furniture.
Today, Lee lives in South Melbourne, where he has a showroom nearby that operates by appointment. His collection and knowledge have grown to include early miniatures and glass, further broadening the range of items he offers.
