YOUR PRODUCT: BUILDING BRAND THROUGH VIDEO

CLB3x3, unlike Amazon, offers an experience, not a physical object. It’s an exhilarating family event of fast-paced, exciting 3on3 basketball, spread across every corner of Australia.

In 2023, when they kicked off their season in Port Adelaide, Flix Productions was right there to capture the action. Together with CLB, we strategically filmed content across various mediums.

We initiated a Video News Release (VNR) with press conferences and B Roll overlay, ensuring it reached commercial networks and aired on the weekend news. Following that, we conducted insightful interviews with key stakeholders, creating a library of content for social media use throughout the year. And of course, the main event! – we filmed all the games, crafting a captivating recap of the CLB launch. CLB then sent the video far and wide across all platforms.

The result? Immediate and continuous growth in brand and product awareness.

EVENTS: A SLAM DUNK FOR MARKETING

One video to build your brand consideration should be event videos. They provide a concise and engaging overview of an event, capturing its essence and key moments. But, while 3on3 basketball is CLB’s flagship event, they also organize large-scale basketball clinics nationwide. When it came to finding the best way to get that message out there, they again chose video. Flix Productions created a marketing video about highlighting how well the CLB team can put on large sports events of all kinds.

This Video led to future opportunities to bring other NBA stars to Australia for future events like this:

TESTIMONIALS: A LONG-TERM INVESTMENT IN CONTENT

ANIMATION: VIDEO TO BUILD YOUR BRAND WITH VISUALS

Video content doesn’t always require filming. Stunning visuals for your brand can be created from photos or logos. Considering that social media algorithms favour videos over photos, CLB regularly released animated logo reveals designed with each team’s theme in mind, enhancing their brand presence and creating an impact.

SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEOS: ENGAGE YOUR AUDIENCE

Social media video to build your brand, typically under one minute, are perfect for engaging your audience.

CLB took this to heart, and when their Josh Giddey clinic spanned two days, Matt & Yvette asked Flix Productions to swiftly turn around a day-one recap video, in mere hours, energizing their audience and creating a memorable experience.

Working through the night, we created this day one recap that over performed on socials but was also played on loop the following day at the clinic. All day long coaches, parents and players planted themselves in front of the tv watching all the fun and trying to spot themselves or their child in the video.

This created an energetic vibe for day two and reminded those invloved how much fun they were having even at the end of a long second day of hoops.

VIDEO NEWS RELEASES (VNRS): GET YOUR MESSAGE OUT THERE

A rarely utilized but great video to build your brand is a VNR. A VNR is a pre thought out video news story idea that provides ready-to-air content for TV networks. It simplifies news coverage by offering high-quality visuals and information, making it a valuable resource for networks with limited reporting & filming capabilities. It also allows you to control the narrative or message you want to send out.

In 2021, the Adelaide Pride was the first team to be announced by Champions League Basketball. CLB3x3 partnered with Flix Productions to create a comprehensive VNR package, increasing their TV coverage and reaching a broader audience.

The VNR supplied included everything a tv network would require to create a news story. This included both B Roll footage interviews with CLB founder Matt Hollard and Adelaide Pride owner, Kevin Brooks. All footage was supplied in broadcast TV tech standards to ensure that the VNR wouldn’t be put in the ‘too hard’ baskets if technical conversions were needed at their end.

This resulted in CLB3x3 getting great TV coverage of the team launch, as seen here on ch7:

RAW FOOTAGE: FLEXIBILITY IN CONTENT USAGE

Upon request, we can provide our clients with the raw footage, offering flexibility in content usage. CLB has effectively employed our raw footage to boost their engagement compared to photos.

RESULTS – CLB GROWS AT A RAPID RATE
